FRC's Interventional Radiology service encompasses two sections: Vascular & Interventional and Interventional Neuroradiology.
There are a total of ten board-certified and fellowship trained physicians who provide non-invasive diagnosis through imaging studies, consultative evaluation and management services, as well as perform minimally invasive therapies for a wide range of vascular and neurological conditions.
Several common conditions and the minimally invasive therapies that our interventionalists use are listed at the left. A more extensive library of patient literature on conditions, diagnostic testing and treatments is available if you register and log on.
Vascular & IR
Diagnostic testing is provided at both our Diagnostic Vascular Laboratory and on-site at our three hospital locations - Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax and Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg.
The Vascular and Intervnetional Associates is our outpatient clinic for initial patient consultation and evaluation as well as follow-up visits.
Treatment of varicose veins is available through The Vein Centers.
Our physicians provide 24/7 coverage at three hospitals to treat a wide range of vascular conditions.
Interventional Neuroradiology
Clinical consultations and interventional neuroradiology procedures are available only at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
